Having just purchased a Samsung 15" Widescreen LCD TV for the bedroom, I cannot get the SKY+ remote control to control the TV. I have followed the remote coding procedure, tried all the samsung codes to no avail.

Has anyone had any luck ?

I have a V1 box, is there a more up-to-date version of the SKY+ remote available that might support this box ?

I believe that Samsung make thier own panels, so I dont suppose another manufacturer code would work ?

    Any comments appreciated ...

I had the same problem too with my lcd, I managed to get mine working using - 088

If that doesn't work , here's all the codes for samsung I found:-

    065 584 645 037 245 476 516 292 318 236 398 244 100 118 060 088 642 672 646

I have a normal Sky remote though, but I think the codes will be the same

I cannot test today anyway, as the TV is back in its box after only a day as it keeps shutting down (I think it is overheating as it wont switch back on until you leave it alone for a while).

SKY+ remote codes are 4 digits - do I just put a leading 0 ? Was your TV a samsung as well ?

    Thanks,

    Peter

Yeah I've got a Samsung too.

For 3 digit codes - press TV - press red & select for 2 secs - then enter a 3 digit code and the led should flash twice. Thats it :)

Many Thanks - will try that when the replacement arrives and let you know how I get on (probably be the end of next week).

Only777. Thanks for that post, you've just made my day  The 088 code worked on my Samsung LCD TV. I tried all the ones I could find and none of them worked until now.
