sky remote question

    hi i've just had sky+ installed can my origional sky remote control other tv's linked into my system via magic eye or do i need to buy another ?

    Any SKY remote will work via the magic eye (TV link) but the standard remote does not carry the same codes as the SKY+ remote, you can adjust it for limited functions (procedure eludes me at this time) but it's pretty much useless. You will be far better off getting a second SKY+ remote for the second location, it only took me a few days to realise what a pain it was to remember to take the remote around the house with me:)

    cheers i've seen new ones on e bay for about £20 as opposed to £35
