So sorry if this had been dealt with b4
My sky+ remote control stopped working and when I opened it up, I found that one of the batteries had leaked into the compartment.
I cleaned out the comartment with cotton wool and changed the batteries; this had the remote control working again, except that none of the "sky+ features " buttons worked anymore!
    Still working:
    Number buttons
Red, green, yellow and blue buttons
    Channel + and - buttons
    Power Button
    Select Button

All the other buttons do not work and do not even light up on the IR sensor when pressed.

Can anyone tell me if/how this can be corrected, or is it time to get a new remote?
    Thanks.

The electrolyte leak from the batteries will have corroded a piece of the remote circuit board and/or components on it.
If you are able to open it (small Torx screws) you could try cleaning it with Isopropyl Alcohol and a cloth.......if that doesn't work.....new one required.
