    Hi,
Recently i have had quite a few recordings fail. It started out as recordings that would lock up and recordings that say "loss of signal" as the reason.
The signal is fine and has always been fine.
Tuesday even 3 recordings failed (i actually watched one of the programs).
I was given "reason unkown". Has anyone had this kind of problem?. The box isnt modified in any way. But isnt plugged into the phone.

    Any ideas ?

Swap the LNB connections over, it may be that the signal is weaker via one cable and prone to dropouts which may cause a failed recording while the same program was fine on live viewing.

I have been having this problem in that last two weeks, there does not seem to be a paten to it, but I have now missed all the new Top Gear shows because of it.

It is not anything to do with the dish or cabling as I have had this checked out.

I have also been getting more problems with picture brake up on playback of recording (This can be fixed doing the software update mostly).
