    Hello

Just bought a Sky+ box off ebay, but apparently I have to upgrade my subcription with sky just to record, I don't have any premium channels just the additional family pack, I don't really want any other channels...is there any way around this?

    thanks
    Nobber

    Hi Nobber,

I too have just taken on SKY+ and it is absolutely true you have to upgrade your package or pay £10 a month :thumbsdow ...my thoughts were to upgrade package and pay a little more, as what is a few extra quid on top of a tenner!!.....at least you are getting something for your money...I believe, but do check with SKY, that the cheapest package with 2 premium channels starts at £30?? (one sports and a couple of movie channels if I recall right).

Hope it all works out okay

    Cheers

    dave_myth_magic,

Just the movies will do as it counts as 2 premium packages.

Saves a few pennies not having the Sport.
