Sky+, reclaiming disc space

I have been through the procedure, Services - System Setup, and then 0 - 1 but I can't get it to work. I eventually got hold of someone on the phone (Bangalore it would seem... it used to be Scotland...) who could only suggest that I press 0 - 1 very quickly, which I have tried many times to no avail. Any suggestions?

And whilst on, it seems to me that Sky Customer services are seriously deteriorating... why are the telephone numbers given out on screen all wrong, surely it is the simplest thing to get these right on their own screen?

services 4-0-1, then possibly there is a push of the 'select' button.

then you'll want option 7.
 
Fine, but it won't get past 4 .... pressing 0-1 doesn't work, and I've tried it dozens of times.. what am I doing wrong?

Press Services, 4, 0, 1, & Select. There is no onscreen response as you press the '0' & '1', just press the sequence. When the Installer Setup appears, use Option 7 - Planner Rebuild.
 
Thanks, guys, that's done it.... I didn't realise that you had to hit "select" before there was any onscreen response.
