Since I installed my new Tosh 52WM48P on Saturday I have noticed that Ch5, Sky1, E4 etc. are all breaking up badly. For Bravo and a few other obscure channels there is no satellite signal at all. BBC & ITV channels are all ok.

I've reset the box twice, re-fitted all the cables etc. - no difference.

I've been on the phone to Sky and they say it'll cost me a £65 call-out charge for an engineer to diagnose and fix the problem.

Is this a known/simple solution that I can cure myself or do I need to bite the bullet and call out the engineer ?

    Thanks in advance.

Could be the LNB on the dish. There are horizontal and vertical channels on Sky. If it's all the horizontal or all the vertcial channels missing then it is almost certainly the LNB. If it's a mix of both it could still be the LNB but could also be the digibox itself.
