It doesn't tell you there's an update. It says you can apply the latest update (which you already have).What was the outcome from the engineer's visit? I had Sky Q installed on Monday (V2 box). It locked up about five minutes after the engineer left. I updated the software to Q112 and still have the same problems. Strangely, it tells me that there is an update available after updating. Engineer due out this week.
