I thought I'd seen everything but it's new to me.
They'd let you have one for a lot less than 100 with a little PPP.

What exactly is the problem - getting the signal to another room - sending remote control back to the mini - or something else?

I've got picture in both rooms, but only able to control the box, not the IR extender.

So you need a wireless IR Extender such as a Harmony.
Another mini would solve the problem though and needn't cost anything.

Resolved - I just paired the bluetooth sky remote with the sky mini box. That was easy.
