Have an engineer coming Friday.
No you don't, you have an installer coming.
"Good evening its charlie your sky engineer. I will be....."No you don't, you have an installer coming.
No, it requires a new/different LNB to be fitted to the dish.
What happens if you have a communal dish? Currently getting a dual feed off a communal dish.
The system has to be modified to support legacy and Sky Q kit. Sky will know if your system has already been updated.
I doubt my communal dish will be updated without some intervention. So there is no dual or single feed mode like on legacy boxes.
What happens to people with single or dual feeds when Sky Q replaces Sky + HD completely?
Ok thanks for the explanation. The guys that erected the communal dish are long since gone. I am not sure my landlord has a service contract with anyone to maintain the dish.
Therefore I can envisage problems trying to get the lnb updated i.e. who pays for it.
If it is communal system at present with a multiswitch then it is not the lnb that needs changing but additional kit in the form of a digital DSCR and splitters to be fitted.Ok thanks for the explanation.
