    Hi all,

I have a Sky Q dish and I have the cables from the dish to my TV room.

I have a Samsung KS8000 with a connection for a Sattelite Main cable and a Sattelite Sub cable and Freesat Receiver built into the TV.

Do I need a DiSEqC at all, or will it just work does anyone know?

Will I get all Freesat channels or just half? I was reading that the Sky Q Dish works differently to traditional quad LNB.

If its the standard Sky Q LNB with two ouputs it will not work and will need replacing with a universal LNB. If it's the hybrid Sky Q LNB with 6 outputs it will work just fine.

Thanks for that info, I'll try and have a look from the ground when I'm home as to what's on the dish.
