Sky Q box mains lead

Quick question ahead of my SkyQ install in a week's time.
Does the Sky Q box have a hard wired mains or is it a figure 8 socket?

Hope it's the later as it'll make installing into my Sanus rack easier.

Figure 8. Then again you might get a v2 with external power block. That might be figure 8 into power block. I must check that.

I hope I can just unplug power lead and disconnect both sat feeds and hdmi and attach to Q box. I don't want to be routing cables. A power block sounds like a pain too

It's a fig8. I repositioned by block to make it easy to hard reset

So just to confirm, it's figure 8 in the back of the Sky Q box regardless of version?

I only know if this since I've had all three versions of the sky Q box since February!!

Is the power block to Q not a different connection?

It's a fig of 8 to V1 & V3 boxes and a fig of 8 to the power brick of the V2 which then plugs into the V2 Q box via a proprietary connector.

That’s what I thought. I haven’t seen my final connection, only felt it when rummaging in the back of my cabinet.

How big is this power brick? If I get a V2 then maybe I'll have room for the power brick behind the Q box on the rack shelf
