I currently have the bog standard box only.

What i'd (think) i'd like is a quad lnb from the sky dish, with 3 cables all able to run sky plus on them. (ct100?)

one cable to go downstairs, and two to go to 2 bedrooms.

Whats the limit on what can be run?

And, if i purchase these boxed privately, do i have to have any of them connected to the phone line. (assuming im taking multiroom)

I think i will end up with one HD unit downstairs , and 2 x sky + boxes upstairs.

Well each Sky+ box will need 2 LNB feeds so thats a max of 2 Sky+ boxes from 1 quad LNB :)

Im sure you will find that the SkyHD will need the same LNB feeds also.

Yea,. i mean't Octo Lnb... but.... i don't think i really need it, because, as i understand it, Sky multiroom, only allows 1 other location. per 10 quid.

so no way im paying 20-30 quid for the pleasure of independant selection for the kids. :p
