Hey, This is my first post and I have a nasty feeling that I have put it in the wrong place. I have a sky branded plasma screen 42" tv. It has been fine over the last year. But lately it has been losing input signal. I can tell this because if I am watching a program, the screen goes all wavey and the cuts out completely. Then the screensaver kicks in like it would if there is no input signal. All of my devices work fine so I can only say that it is the tv. I do not know the "proper" make of the televsion and I would like to know if someone has any helpful advice or where is a good place to get it fixed. I live in bedforshire in the uk.

    Thankyou for your time

I think it's an Hitachi panel.

Could your Sky installation be duff???

Check with Sky customer services would be my first call.

They might be able to put you on to someone.

The Sky PDS4250 plasma was manufactured by Daewoo in Korea. It has an LG panel inside which is capable of delivering 1080i prgressive scan signal via the DVI input and is very much HD ready.

Daewoo in the Uk will not support it as it was never one of their models, meaning the Sky deal was done direct with Korea. However, if you want it checked out try a company in Swindon called Genserve (look in the phone book). They know the set and can arrange an engineer.
