Well I'm home awaiting Top Gear to be recorded (not taking any chances after last week!) and while looking through whats lined up for the week, I notice two programmes have "slipped" in but my wife or myself have not set them up!

One was the Sky Travel channel and the other was on Travel channel.
Has anyone else had this? I think I'm right in saying this something like this happened to Tivo boxes with the Beeb.

    It's spooky :D

Not seen it myself and the BBC/TIVO incident generated so much bad press we are not likely to see it again:)

Has any series links that were supposed to have been added automatically not appeared? Due to the finite number of codes used to identify programs on the EPG there may have been last minute changes which generated false entries in place of the correct ones.

All the links that we have set up are there.
I think I'll put this one down to a software glitch!!

'Emmerdale' seemed to sneak in as a series link on mine. Two epsisodes were recorded before I noticed and deleted them!

I've seen this with Emerdale recently as well.

Thought the missus might've been trying to break the "no soaps" policy.. noticed some other stuff recorded that nobody new anything about. I thought it must have been finger trouble.

On my old Sky some favorites just apeared & couldn't be deleted! Perhaps they are trying to broaden horizons of the narrow minded! (-:

Mitch... It was something to do with the EPG. Not sure if it was Sky or the Beebs fault, I believe it was down to Beeb, but anyway, it didnt record, & in fact vanished from the planner!

Just watched the "missing" Top Gear as I recorded the show off UK People.
Well that was pooh! They have cut so much out, it really spoilt it.
