i am a tv aerial rigger, yesterday a customer phoned me and said he had bought a plasma from one of the sky shoping channels just before christmas.

when the contract company came from sky they said they could not install it as the room the customer wanted it,there was only a RF coax socket on the wall and this plasma needed a scart input.

his present sky receiver is in his main lounge and i have the signal piped round the house.

does anyone know if this is correct regarding only scart input not RF

i want to go prepared next week when i install the wall bracket and speakers as sky say they are not insured the do this work

    cheers

They connect the plasma from the Sky box direct to the plasma. If it was in another room they would have to get another Sky or freeview box or route wires and get a RGB2YUV & use component inputs. (I think)

Yes they are but to be honest most Plasma`s would be the same unless they have an analogue tuner built in !
