I have a Philips PF9946 plasma tv and it doesn't do Sky Sports very well(along with 1 or 2 other Sky channels)Does anyone know if upgrading my existing digibox(Amstrad DRX100) to the new PaceDS430n would improve things??

Not sure if post should be here or in Plasma section but will try here for now

Plasma along with other higher end display technologies benefit from high quality source material such as DVD.
While the channels on Dsat use the same system the broadcasters choose to save money and over compress the digital pictures, this reduction is quality is perhaps what you are seeing when the image is further enlarged and processed by the Plasma.
Problems that are invisible on a bog standard 28" CRT can become evident on larger and more advanced displays.

If some Dsat channels look ok (Five is good) then the digibox is not the problem nor is the connection method although you should at least be using RGB scart.
