HAS ANYONE WITH SKY DIGI GOT ANY PROBLEMS WITH BLOCKY PIXELS ESPECIALLY ON FACES ON THE MUSICIANS CHANNEL AND PARAMOUNT 2..WHEN THE DISH WAS INSTALLED OUR SIGNAL QUALITY WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OK ON THE LOCK INDICATOR(sorry IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM YAPPING ON ABOUT) SO I CALLED OUT AN ENGINEER WHO SAID THAT IT WAS THE LNB SO AFTER REPLACING THAT THE SIGNAL QUALITY WENT UP A BIT BUT HASN'T STOPPED THE PIXEL PROBLEM..WE HAVE ONE BOX DOWN STAIRS(AMSTRAD SKY+) AND ONE OF THE NEW PACE SYSTEMS UP STAIRS(STANDARD BOX)..BOTH TV'S ARE 50HZ ONE BEING A RPTV AND THE OTHER A 21" TOSH..WOULD IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH A BETTER QUALITY SCART CABLE OR WOULD HAVING 100HZ TV'S MAKE A DIFFERENCE?...THESE AREN'T THE ONLY CHANNELS THAT HAVE PROBLEMS BUT THEY ARE THE WORST...CHEERS

IF the Pixelation you are talking about is the bloacky digital distortion you get when watching some of the (more highly compressed) channels... which it sounds like it is... is is somthing you have to live with i am afraid

For those channels that broadcast in High Def the difference will be stunning assuming you have a display that will do it justice.

However 90% of the current channels on Dsat will not be broadcasting in HD for many many years, standard def channels are going to be around a long time especially those that do not have programming filmed in HD or really worth upconverting.
