Given that the sky pay once watch forever package which includes a sky box and dish install and two mix subscription for 6 months, wouldn't this be a much better option for people considering freesat atm but don't currently have a dish?
Freesat installs are £80 so the sky install is cheaper and gives you a free stb into the bargain.
There is nothing to stop you buying a freesat box as well (the sky dish install would work with a freesat box just as well), or after 6 months when the sky 2 mix package ends when you could sell your 6 month old sky box and buy a freesat hd pvr when they are released
Edit : Sorry didn't see the other thread http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=758326
Definitely worth considering though
