    For info:

I had SKY+/Multiroom 'upgrade' installed at the weekend, and after reading all about the Amstrad vertical lines problem, was obviously a bit concerned about what box I'd get. Anyway, I got a Pace box without having to ask. Installer was a contract installer, rather than SKY - not sure that would make a difference.

I've got it hooked up via S-Video for the moment at least. Picture quality is very close to my normal sky box which connected via RGB Scart to JS Tech RGB2YUV box. Both into Denon 3803 AV Amp and out to Plasma via component. One of Picture quality / strength (can't remember which way round) is better on input1 than input2 and my normal SKY digital box.

RF2 from both SKY and SKY+ go into a Global Plus Combiner and then to a 4 way distribution amp and on to two other rooms in the house, controlled by magic eyes. It all works like a dream and gives us total flexibility for watching & recording.

    Cheers
