I'm curious which would give the better picture on a PW6.

I'm considering buying a freeview receiver even though I have SKY+, because I'm (very occasionally) finding my SKY+ busy recording 2 channels when I want to watch a 3rd. Or when I'm dubbing from SKY+ to DVDR and want to watch something else.

Would the Netgem iPlayer be any good using the (so I have read) component output through Scart (how does that work)? Could I connect it to the VGA on the PW6 with a JS Tech adaptor?

Freeview appears to be better - however if you want component you have to have the Netgem

EpsomJames, I am waiting for the panasonic TUCTH100, twin freeview PVR, should be out at the end of Nov for a couple of hundred quid or thereabouts,

I have noticed that most of the progs I like to watch seem to all be on at 9pm, sometimes there's 4 or 5 on at the same time hence the extra PVR as well as Sky+

I really must get out more :suicide:

    cheers, Spook
