Just connected my Sky+ box via digital optical cable to my new all-in-one system (Samsung HT-DS470 - which I'm very happy with). All was well for 1st 5 days and then started to get intermittent sound - breaking up and very annoying. Seems to work fine with phono cables and the radio works OK so I'm assuming its a sky+ problem.

    Can anyone advise?

Check the optical cable is "snug" at both ends, it should click into place.
If you have another device with optical out then it's always worth confirming the cable and the HT-DS470 are both workign correctly which helps if you need to contact SKY in regards to a potential faulty SKY+.
