Is there any way I can have a sky subscription on my PC ? ie do Sky do a card I can plug my dish into and display on my PC ? And on the same note can I use my PC for recording the stream al la Sky+ ?

no mate. You would require a normal sky box with RF out to a Video capture card in your pc. This would then allow you to record video directly to your pc and watch it via your PC disply.

there are other less ligitimate ways of course, but i do not do them as a)i dont have a dish and b)i dont know how
