I hope someone can share their experiences with me, as I can't find the information that I need on the sky website.

I currently have sky+ , my dish has a quad LNB, and we have now decided that we want to utilise my old sky box as a multi-room receiver upstairs. Apart from the £10 a month increase in subscription, how much should my upgrade cost to install?

If I decide to do the wiring, drilling and connecting myself, will sky send me a duplicate card, or will they insist that I have to pay for an engineers visit?

    Thanks

Pretty sure you can diy, just ask sky for a multiroom card and an upgraded subscription. You will need to have both boxes plugged into a phone line though, so bear that in mind when doing the installation.
