I am getting multi room fitted next weekend and i dont have a telephone connection in the bedroom, so i was wondering if the telephone over the mains pulgs work ? any other methods of getting a telephone line in without A) re plastering or B) tearing up my new laid carpet ?

Phone over mains adapters should work there are a couple of STBs that they dont like (amstrad) but the rest should be fine

You should be able to easily route the telephone cable invisibly around the room by pushing it down the edge of the carpet.

Just beware the gripper rod!

I have just dug my old sky box out that is going to be used for my multiroom installation and it is white with a manufactured by pace stamped on the back, does anyone know if this box will work with the above mentioned telephone extenders ?
