I'm planning on installing a magic eye in my bedroom connected to Sky + can I watch a different channel in my bedroom too the lounge? Can I watch recorded programmes in the bedroom whilst live sky is viewed in the lounge?????

    Nope.
SKY+ while having two tuners has only a single decoder and therefore can only output one video stream at any time.
As a SKY+ user you can get a mirror card for an additional £10 a month (with conditions) which gives you two independent digital sources when used with another digibox.
