    Hi,
Have brought my SKY+ box/card over to the Netherlands in the hope of watching SKY.
I have an active subscription in the UK at my UK address.
Have setup a FORTEC STAR 65cm dish and aligned it (I think) to the Astra 2D satellite.
Am now able to pick up free to air channels from this Sat. i.e. BBC/ITV etc.
On picking a SKY channel, it says I have to call them for a subscription and cannot see any encrypted channels.
The LNB came with the dish package from Maplins who informed me that it would all work with SKY.
Was I misinformed and if so, would it be the dish or LNB I would have to replace.
The LNB has two co-ax connections, not sure what make/model.
    Cheers

It will work just fine. Sky don't know where it is unless you tell them. Has the card been out of use for a while? If so it will have missed its "refresh" signal so you'll have to leave it in the slot for up to three days until it receives the next one.
