Sky + & Live events..

I recorded Roy Jones Fight (live on Eurosport 4am) last night started at 2am finished at 5am or something. Anyway the broadcast must have over-ran or something as 2 rounds before end of fight the recording finishes and not due to error. Doesn't Sky + have contingencies for over runninng live events so you don't miss the end? So darn frustrating!

As long as the broadcaster updates the EPG it will keep recording the overrun.

You can also add up to 30 mins to either side of your recording in the Sky+ setup menu.

Thanks. But the Broadcaster being Eurosport or Sky?

Eurosport like all channels that use the EPG are responsible for maintaining the accuracy and are given the ability to override published schedules in more or less real time, very few do so:(

For live events either use the manual recording option to bracket the timeslot or add the next program (or two) from the EPG to allow for any overrun.

Eurosport are very bad with the EPG......my dad records stuff regularly on ES, mainly motorsports.....so many times he has problems......3 races the other day ended up being just ES News channel being broadcast for some reason??
