I am getting old. I have sky piped round to every room in the house, uisng a distribution amp in the loft, but now I would like to be able to chnage channels on the sky box from another room. Do I need to run another cable or can I just use existing set up?

I am not 100% sure...... I think you'll have to put a dedicated feed as theirs 9 volts running down my link cable this allows the mouse on top of second tv to transmit the data..I ve tried it in my video and didnt work its the same for my Sky+

As Derek says you can but not with any old distribution amp.
Any advertiser in What Satellite selling TV link will know about this and will sell you a suitable amp.

    Have a look here m8 - www.tvlink.co.uk/24way.html

I have the two way one and it works a treat. 2 bedrooms with full sky digital remote operation. Isn't life wonderful.
