    Hi all,
I have got sky digital at the mo with sky link in the bedroom.
I will be getting sky + on 30th jan and would still like to use sky link in the bedroom.
Question: Can my sky digital remote for the bedroom operate sky + in the bedroom or will i have to buy a 2nd sky + remote ?

Sorry if question has been asked before but cant find a link.

Think you will need a sky+ remote as the IR are different.
I think you can use the same eye tho (check with SKy installer)

You will need a + remote ifyou want to use +s features. I can't remember how but you can get the Sky remote to change channel up & down - thats about it. However my Sony remote comander (learning) now does all A/V stuff downstairs, & use my+ remote up. The comander could be taught all the + comands but not some from Sky?

I can't see the mote on their site, but I didn't think they were so dear from Sky. They sell new on Ebay circa £20, & I thought that was about Skys price inc. delivery!

When my engineer installed Sky + I told him I wanted a second remothe for my TFT in the kitchen (iLink). He said 'No problems guv, they're £45.00 from Sky but I'll do you a favour geez at just the £20.00, just so appens I've got one on me van'......I fell for it hook line and sinker but called Sky the next day and they are £20.00 from Sky.
    I had to laugh.
