Im going to sell mine if this pace free to view with the built in hard drive is any good , cant hack the price any longer , esspecially the extra tenner a month , would have rather paid more for the box in the first place.

I know what you mean about the price and i agree that the price would have been easier in with the box

But on the other hand it's quality and while we would all like to pay less at least it is a good service and while the others try they cant match it , try as they might

I totally understand people finances and im not trying to judge anyone at all ,
but is £10 a month really that much these days ?

especially with the constant updates they send .

I would definetly say get it if you can find a better alternative then fine but I would recommend it everytime .

£10 a month isnt really that much these days but when you add it to the top sky package your talking nearly £50 a month or £600 a year! thats just a complete rip off in my book , they are just taking the pis* because they havnt got any rivals and know most people will pay it.

That my point really. I know the kit be good and I would use it hell alot as I am always missing programs I like to watch. So I just get Sky + set up to record most of my fave programs even though if I am in just incase you know bla bla bla.

But it the price that put me off it if there was no subcription for it then yeah i would jump for the chance. But I feel sky should looking into doing Sky + subcription to the people that pay full price for sky free. you know what i mean.

In fact someone was telling me in the pub lastnight night that sky + subscription is free if you have the movies world package and have the second box installed in another room. Is this correct?

I wish i have paid the full package for years, i have sky + and 2 more boxes but still pay full wack

Your suggestion is good for a discount to payers of the full package

The main thing that annoys me with sky pricing is there is no bonus for being loyal everybody else gets the discount or free this and that

You dont even get a free month for 5 years viewing its like some of the companys i have worked for.

Dont get me wrong i could not live without sky, and i think they do a good job but they just look at new customers too much instead of thanking those that they have and have stayed loyal

The thing that gets me is they only pay an installer (me) £50 to fit it! Luckily im an independant installer and often the customer wants extras like more points so I can make it worth my while.

I believe they charge £15 per month for " mirror " and Skyplus+ instead of £12 plus £10 normal charge. Sky may view this as " free " to the rest of us maybe you could say it is £3 per month.
    It is a " loyalty " offer.

I'll pay Skyplus+ whilst it is £10, if they increase it to £12, no chance. I'm waiting for the day...
