I'm thinking about having Sky+ installed (it's now a free sub for me). I've been having problems lately with freezing/pixellating/blocking on a few channels, and was wondering if the Sky+ installation would alleviate this, as I think the problem lies with LNB droop and the LNB will be replaced? (I'm assuming that the LNB will have be re-aligned).

Does anyone know if the Sky ladder-monkeys replace the original cable run to the STB at the same time, or is it best getting a local specialist to do the install?

Finally, I know it's not cricket, but can anyone PM me with the names of any satellite install companies they recommend in the North London/ Hertfodshire region?

    Cheers,
    Bruce

Had Sky+ installed last week :D (upgrade by Sky installers):

Uses same dish & bracket, just new (quad) LNB

Uses existing coax cable run to dish - one new cable run added

    Uses same Sky card

Dish was not realigned - all signals at approx 70%
