I've just ordered Sky+ as part of the upgrade and mirror promotion, but suddenly have one of those clutching heart questions ....

I understand that the installation will include a Quad LNB. Does each of the two Sky+ LNB's require separate coax cabling all the way to the Sky+ box? Presumably the box has two Type F connectors!?

Is there any way to run BOTH LNB connections through ONE coax cable drop (from Loft to Lounge)?

I really don't want the engineer to start drilling holes through my wall if the installation can be achieved through my existing cabling.

Please Help ... and soon, as installation is just two weeks away!!

    Thanks

The sky+ box has two inputs, you will be offered either a twin cable to replace the existing cable or an additional standard cable.
No way round it I'm afraid.

Thanks for that. Not exactly the answer I wanted to hear but hey ....

Looks like I'll need to do a bit of cabling before the engineer comes out, to get the cabling as I want. Ho-Hum, was hoping to have the weekend off as well ...

    Cheers
