I have just placed an order for Sky+ and have a query regarding the cabling. I understand that Sky+ requires 2 cables from the dish. Will the installer use the existing cable to my digibox and run an additional cable or will he have to replace the old one? I have installed a wall socket for my existing cable.

It is more than likely that they will just run another coax along side the old one you have now, unless you are currently experiencing any problems. It saves them money and time.

When I got Sky+ installed, the installer removed the existing cable and installed a new one so I guess it depends on the installer.
