Just installed our selves a sky hd box, replaced existing lnb with 4 output one.
we have now put old box, in conservatory, connected to one of the lnb out
puts.
Question is, the old box is the 1st gen pace box, and is painfully slow, i am
looking to update the box, and wondered if i bought a sky + box, would it
record to the hard drive. I know it would only record one prog at a time
but it would be handy to use.( or do we need 2 sky+ subs )
we have a sky + sub for the hd box

Cheers

Dave.

It depends on what subs you have, the + comes free with HD subs on your HD box, you will pay £10 for multiroom and I take it you are paying £10 for the HD subs, so it you have a premium channel you will not pay any more for the second box to have the +
