Hello all,
I've done some reading on these forums over the past couple of hours and found some great info, but I'd like some advice.
I'm an electrician pricing for a re-wire on a house where the owner has a mild obsession with tv's and HD quality.
He wants his main sky box in his living room (ground floor, front of house) so im going to run a shotgun from the lmb to a wall plate. He is also having multi room, but would like to use the multi room to do the family room (ground floor, back of house) and master bedroom (1st floor, front of house).
So my question is for the multiroom setup, do I run:
1) a double screened coax roughly 20meters from bedroom to family room for a magic eye setup
2) 2x cat 6 from bedroom to family room for hdmi (i belive you can do magic eye over hdmi somehow)
3) scrap cabling and go for a wireless solution
4) convince him to have an octo lmb and an extra multiroom sub.
my main concern is that swapping from a HD signal to an analogue will disappoint him.
Thanks in advance.
