    Hi there,

I just got Sky+ installed yesterday, and it seems great so far, BUT...

Last night I left it recording wrestling (I know, it's my own fault...), this moved back due to the boxing, but the box seemed to detect this and continue recording past the supposed finish time. When I came down this morning it was still recording! It still actually believed it was recording the wrestling as well (which finished at 12:40am) I stopped this, but then couldn't watch the recorded stuff at all, everytime I highlighted it it just said "press backup to exit" no mention of Select to view. I deleted it but it never freed up any disc space! Since then I have cleared down everything else on the Sky+ planner so the disc is supposedly empty yet it still only shows 88% free :(

I've looked through the (fairly useless) manual but it was no help.

Can anyone on here help me out at all? I thought the capacity was a little small as it is without the box hiding it from me!

    Thanks for your help,

    Keir Turner.

Try recording something else, then delete it, if your planner is empty it will be 99% free, rarely 100%.
If this isn't the case, seems you need a replacement box.

The wrestling situation in itself could be just an EPG error on their side.

    Go into the engineers menu...
    Services
    4
    0
    1
    Select

Then select option 7 and do a Full System Reset.
This will wipe the contents of the HD and hopefully resolve the disk space indicator and like gringottsdirect says the wrestling could have been an EPG error.

Thanks guys, that's cleared it up. I'd tried recording and deleting something with no luck but the full system reset did the trick!

What did I do before the internet came along....

    Cheers!

    Keir Turner.
