    Hi All

Is it possible to carefully install a new HDD in Sky+ without visiblely messing up the warranty so if something goes wrong I could put back in the 40gb drive back in and give Sky a ring without them knowing I opened it up?

    Hi

If you are carefully or replace the screws with new ones that show no damage from what I can tell looking at mine there does not seem to be any way to tell so just be careful I guess.

Thanks for the answer. I was hoping that would be the case. I have only just got Sky+ and didn't want to lose the warranty because it seems a bit flakey to say the least (mine freezes all the time!)
