Sky HD Virgin

    Phoned up Pennine Plus this morning went and picked the box up this afternoon (1hrs drive from Bolton) now watching Football in HD:) .They were extremely helpfull.

    Just a couple of quick questions is it me or does the picture in SD get better the longer you leave it on. Do I ut the picture setting on 1080i or auto and finally has anyone got any favourite settings for the Toshiba 32wlt58.

    Overall its looking good:thumbsup:

    I would set it as 1080i

    turn off all the "enhancements" offered by the TV's menus, and simply adjust your brightness and contrast to make blacks proper black, but not so edges become noisy.

    Cheers guys for the help will try these today. Watched National Geographic HD last night . WOW cant wait to watch Planet Earth again. :)

    You might want to invest in a surround sound system as some programs are in Dolby Digital and the likes of the BBD HD sounds amazing. I was expecting a great picture but the sound quality was a pleasant suprise.
