SKY+ HD Viewing card

I was just given a free upgrade by SKY to the new amstrad HD box. My existin viewing card now works with the new box. However when I used the card in my old SKY HD box (Thompson) in another room, it said the card was not valid. Any way of fixing it so both boxes will work with the same card?

It can be paired to one or the other. One card can't be paired to both boxes at the same time. If you want to use both (for recording subscription/FTV channels and/or for viewing premium channels) then you need multiroom - which is a second card and an extra £10.25 per month.

What does this mean? You can take your card (and box) anywhere you like that has a satellite dish.

Obviously he means it's a shame you can't just take the card with you.
