ok guys if you have both of these formats could you give us your views please for picture quality.


it would help if you give marks out of 100 for sky and hd-dvd.

i dont own either, but i have seen both, and the words breathtaking springs to mind.

Obviously some content is better than others, but they are both spectacular.

HD-DVD is basically the highest quality you can get in the home at present, so it has to be the baseline 100. Sky HD is considerably lower quality because of poor CBR bitrates with shoddy encoding, so maybe 60 or so. BBC HD benefits from 20mbit, so maybe 80ish.
