Whats the best deal to upgrade to sky HD for existing sky customers?

Paying £300 for the box from sky direct is just madness.

There must be a cheaper way?

theres loads of threads on getting it for £149,

I even read yesterday that sky have dropped the price to a flat £149 now, not sure how true this is

Comet seems the best bet with HD at £149 when you buy absoloutley anything instore

Try Currys. I didn't buy anything other than Sky HD and it cost £149+Free install+half price subs for three months. It appeas there is also an element of luck depending on the store you visit.

failing that try calling your local independent installers, ive read that quite a few of them are doing them for £149 too

Just try getting Sky to pair your exsisting card to your new HD box.!!
I phoned Sky on Saturday evening at 5pm asking them to pair my card to my Hd box and turn on HD for my new box.
Was told they have "problems" with their I.T. systems and there would be a "slight" delay before my HD signal was up & running.
Was switched on this evening (Tuesday) at about 4:15!!
