hi we are getting hd next week and i use a digi sender to send sky upstairs. can i still use this as it is on scart. Also we have hours and hours recorded. is there a way we will be still able to watch the programs we its not connected to the dish

Welcome to AVF.
If you want to keep access to those programmes you'd better get them copied asap to a DVD/HDD recorder or computer.

Thanks for the info. is there a guide on how to copy to pc. Also how can i find out whats on anytime + as lots on the hard drive are bones, fringe ect are the box sets on anytime +

By selecting Anytime on your Sky box and scrolling through the various sections - including one section which I think is even titled "Box Sets".

He doesn't have Anytime+ yet.
To record to computer you need a card with video and audio input sockets, and a recording program.

thanks for the help. looks like we are going to have some long nights. going to hope bones and fringe are on anytime + in the box set list and not watch them.
