Sky HD rewind x6 not working

Hi, dont know if any others are having this problem but since about a week ago, i have noticed that my rewind x6 doesnt work. It will go back a couple of frames and then just freeze. I then have to go up to 12x.

Has then been an update recently? My box is an original Thompson.

Exact same thing happens on my thompson.

Try a Sky+ Rebuild. On the remote, press Services, 0, 0, 1, Select & 7. You won't lose any recordings.

Thanks will give it ago. Never happened before and had it since launch and is still my first box. Thats why i though could be an update.

If it's an original Thomson, be aware of possible PSU problems with these older boxes nowadays. Plenty of posts on this forum. I have a Thomson 4E3007, and, whilst the rewind is not 100% perfect all the time, there are no other problems whatsoever with this box, and I am happy to leave things as they are. I do a Planner Rebuild every couple of weeks or so, and that keeps the box working fast enough. I have also disabled Instant Rewind as I never use it.

Also, keep the box as cool as possible. Mine has its own space on an open shelf, and I've got it raised slightly off the shelf for better ventilation for the fan underneath.

Mine has started doing this too.. Not every time.. But often when I rewind at x6, it just stops/freezes!

Mine's done this on and off for months. Just hit x12 and then back to x6 seems to clear it.
