:lease: Hi everyone, my first post, so here goes.
Has there been a general drop off in picture quality over the last week to ten days? Im experiencing generally poor quality in both normal satellite and HD pictures through HDMI. I have tried all normal remedies cables, signal strength, reboot etc. In HD the background seems to be pulsing and when paused it is not clear. In normal satellite mode lots of pixels and picture looks like it is made up of lines. I have had 2 new Panasonic 32lxd70 first one had fantastic picture but had an annoying whistling sound. Dealer changed it but the second one had awful pq. I got my original set back, but the pq is just as bad. Any information would be gratefully recieved.

TBH I thought the exact opposite. Picture quality on Sky 1 HD especially seems better than before. Though I did read somewhere that the bit rate on BBC HD has been reduced.

I would ask the dealer to come out - any dealer worth his salt (unless it's someone like Comet) will be only too pleased to do so. He can then assess the situation properly.
