What's the point of starting the same thread twice?

I thought someone might ask that, Because I want everyone's point of view not just a biased point of view from either telewest or sky customers!

First off is HD content the primary reason for considering either machine or is it the DVR aspect?

If it's HD then SKY wins simply on content regardless of the initial price but if you just want the DVR then go for the TVDrive.
Price for the SD packages are not that different and TW doesn't have an upfront cost but at this time there is a fee for the service on all packages where as the SKY+ fee is waived for premium content.

If your into sports, want to watch rugby union, football in HD, rugby league to follow, also the red button interactive services work on Sky where if you look Tw forums there interactive doesn't work (no red button). So no choice on football first

Two things make Sky HD win for me

1: Telewest don’t think my area is good enough for them so can’t get anything other than Sky

2: Sky1 HD , Sky Sports HD, Sky Movies HD (Sky don’t sell there HD things to Telewest Yet)

I’m not saying there’s nothing on the Telewest system but from reading on the forum it seems limited to say the least
