Sky+HD Manufacturer

Standard Member
Hi, is there a way to find what is the Manufacturer of your Sky+HD box ? Checked bottom of Box and just got Model numbers, same when used the menu's. Needing the Manufacturer to set up my Logitech Harmony Remote Control. :lease:

It doesn't matter which manufacturer you pick as they all use the same IR commands.
The Sky remote works with any Sky+HD box, so therefore, so will the Harmony

If the model number is DRX595, 890 or 895 then the manufacturer is Sky (originally badged as Amstrad but Sky bought them out about 4 years ago). For universal remotes manufacturer is usually immaterial as all boxes use the same sky remote although there are four different types of infra red codes available from a Sky remote depending on its mode setting.

Add Device> Video Recorder> PVR> Amstrad> DRX890.
It looks a but odd but it's the quickest way, and they ARE all the same.
