Sky+HD Instant record Question

Could somebody please tell me if a new Sky+HD box should start instant recording with the first press of the "R" button or the second press ?,
Also when going up or down the channels one by one using the +/- key, should the info banner at the bottom of the screen appear as a normal skybox or should it contain the info "press select to veiw or "R" to record" aswell ?.

I need to press the 'R' button twice to record. Its possibly like that to prevent accidental recording! Not sure about your other questions so maybe someone could answer them.

If the "Now and next banner" is showing then one press will start recording. If not then the first press will bring up the banner and the second will start recording.

The "Select to view R to record" does not appear when using the channel +/- buttons (think about it, why should it when you are already viewing the channel) but does when using the "up and down" arrows to scroll through the "now and next" banners.
