Is it possible to get a HDMI splitter, or something like it, to connect the Sky HD box to two TV's by HDMI cables?

Just not sure if it would work because of the HDCP...

If not, would the same work but with Component connection instead?

I've tried connecting HDMI to one TV, and Component to another, but it wont allow it.

    Hello beany

The SKY HD box is perfectly capable of Outputting an Analogue (3RCA) and Digital (HDMI) HD signal simultaneously - if one or other of your Displays is not receiving the signal its a configuration/compatibility issue with the Display.

It is possible to split the Digital (HDMI) Output of the SKY HD (or any other HDMI equipped device) to any number of Displays simultaneously - see http://www.gefen.com/kvm/product.jsp?prod_id=3858

    Best regards

    Joe

I have my SkyHD using both HDMI to the TV and component to the projector just fine.
