sky hd . dvd player question!!!!!!!!

hi i am getting so dam confused and just cannot get a answer, so here goes,,
if i have a home cinema 5.1 ,, will the sky hd receiver also receive 5.1 through the speakers( subject to 5.1 being broadcast) c/o a optical lead,, ????????
i really cant afford another item ie a amp box!

The SkyHD box will output Dolby with with appropriate material and output via digital i.e. TOSLINK optical. So providing your surround decoder has a TOSLINK "IN" you should be OK.
